The extent that 3D has occupied our minds in the recent past few years is hard to deny.  The ability to watch a movie in 3D can be an explosion of the senses; but 3D movies were not meant to become the peak of what 3D technologies can offer. It is 3D gaming industry that is introducing us to new realities and allowing us to explore a different horizon.

Who is the ideal audience for 3D games? From kids and adults, to teens and their teachers and amateurs to professionals, everyone is the perfect audience for 3D. The world of 3D reality offers games that appeal to every individual’s taste and liking.

3D games are truly engaging. The creators of 3D games manage to visualize people’s dreams and aspirations in 3D; they allow us to live virtual lives and excel at everything we do.  This is one of the reasons why 3D games are so popular.  For example, those who dream to live in a huge house, build one in 3D; sportsmen play against their imaginary rivals; kids get preoccupied with building cities or finding lost treasures, or traveling to the new worlds. The 3D game empire is borderless, and there is a place for every player in it, and most importantly, age and status doesn’t matter one bit.

But let’s go back to the games. Which ones look cool to play? The following games seem to be pretty interesting and are very popular amongst their fans.

Take “Second life” as an example. Have you ever thought about starting your life all over again, or living in another place, or meeting other people? This 3D game gives you a chance to start over, at least in the virtual world.

Want to get some fun and “Get the Glass”?  Try it out – it is not as easy as it may actually seem! I’ve tried it, trust me!

What about going on a mission to protect the planet? Yes, you’ve got this chance. Check this out – Protect My Planet.

And surely, there are 3D games for shooters, racers, tennis-players, from-the-police-escapees, you name it! New 3D games are appearing every day. They make you forget about the real world and pull you into a reality that has for years been described only by the most daring fantasy writers. Many objects and ideas that we have taken for granted and have never considered unusual get their new realization in 3D games. Speaking of commonplace things: have you ever imagined a fluffy golf ball – yes, they do exist!. This is one of the many examples of how your imagination can run wild when it comes to 3D.

Playing games can be a lot of fun, although it does take a lot of time. Why not use our time wisely? What do you think of embarking on another venture, like creating your own games? There are various tools that already exist in order to help you in this new adventure. Stay tuned for our next post to learn more about Unity 3D – a great game engine that can let your most incredible 3D ideas come true.

3D games are probably TOO engaging. Being a mother I would say that kids play games no matter whether they are 2D or 3D. But the thing is that games look much more realistic now than they’ve ever been and the gameplay becomes more associated with the life
